VISCOM Movie Thumbnail ActiveX SDK

This is an ActiveX component for creating thumbnails for a movie or photo collection.

VISCOM Movie Thumbnail ActiveX SDK 2.51 SDK will help integrate thumbnail capability into any application you are trying to build. It supports WMV, MPEG1, AVI, ASF movie file formats. This tool supports raw image formats like CR2, NEF, CRW, MRW, RAF, ERF, 3FR, DCR, RAW, DNG, PEF, X3F, ARW, SR2, MEF, ORF image formats. This component supports PDF, BMP, GIF, ICO, JPEG, J2K, JP2, JPC, J2C, PCX, PNG, PSD, TIF, WMF, WBMP, TGA, PGX, RAS, PNM file formats too. It takes only about a minute to create an ACDSee style image/movie Browser. This component will support loading the image clips from folder. It also supports rotating the image clip at specified angles. Fast load times are available. It allows control of image quality. It is possible to define clip size at design time or at runtime.

When creating the thumbnails, you can enforce maintaining of aspect ratios. End users will be able to define vertical or horizontal scroll bar in thumbnail view. There is no restriction on the size of the image clip. These image clips could be defined by users choice of background / Clip / Highlight / Shadow / Text color/Font Size, etc. Display area is user definable. Overlay caption text can be created. The application built can be distributed without any royalty. This component is compatible with languages that support MS ActiveX technology. Integration samples are provided in VB.Net 2010, Delphi, Visual Basic, and Visual FoxPro. This is a very good product.
